Mihan Gas-Tifa Gas Co. ltd (Tanzania)

Relying on “handover-oriented” knowledge, employing managerial lessons learned and using its valuable experience in successful implementation of projects for EPC of spherical tanks and its influential presence in the domestic mega projects, Petro Sazeh Beinolmelal Aram Co. (IPS) concluded some contracts in Tanzania in 2015 for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of spherical tanks and LPG storage unit in that country aiming to enter the international market.

Subject of Contract: In three separate contracts:
1. Engineering and Procurement of four spherical LPG tanks with inside diameter of 17.9 meters
(capacity 3000 M3), shell thickness of 44 mm and total weight of 1760 metric tons
2. Construction of the above tanks
3. Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the related LPG storage unit

• Forming spherical tanks petals with 3000 tons hydraulic press located in IPS factory
  Qualified fabrication of 248 petals and other accessories within 100 days
  Implementation of the project in accordance with the detailed schedule planning
  The use and deployment of handover management knowledge in the timely completion of the project
  Implementation of the project in accordance with engineering standards and technical requirements
  related to the different working levels,
  Obtaining the approval for engineering from the employer or the emplozyer consultant
  Using and training local labors (in Tanzania) during the project implementation
  Learning new managerial lessons in implementing international projects
