Successful Completion of Hydrostatic Testing for Propylene Spherical Storage Tanks

di arya polymer co project

Project Type: EPC
Client: Di Arya Polymer Co.
Contractor: Petrosazeh Beinolmelal Aram Co. (IPS)
Date: June 2026

We are proud to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing EPC project for Di Arya Polymer Co. The specialized engineering team at IPS Engineering has successfully completed the hydrostatic testing of two massive propylene spherical storage tanks. Each tank features a capacity of 5,000 m3 and a diameter of 21.2 meters.

This critical operation was conducted at a design and test pressure of 29.5 bar, achieving full compliance with all international technical standards, safety protocols, and rigorous quality requirements.

Resilience in the Face of Challenges

The project encountered a period of temporary suspension starting from February 28, 2026 (9 Esfand 1404), due to Force Majeure and regional security instabilities. However, demonstrating exceptional management and resource mobilization, the IPS project team successfully resumed all operations on May 3, 2026 (13 Ordibehesht 1405), immediately following the restoration of stability.

Despite the operational hiatus, our team’s ability to manage the crisis ensured that the project progressed in strict accordance with the revised schedule. This successful testing phase serves as a definitive guarantee of the structural integrity and operational readiness of the tanks for final commissioning at the Di Arya Polymer complex.

Commitment to Excellence

This achievement further reinforces IPS Engineering’s proven capability to execute complex, high-scale spherical tank construction projects, even under the most demanding environmental and geopolitical conditions.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated professionals at IPS, with special recognition to our on-site technical team, whose unwavering commitment, precision, and expertise were instrumental in navigating this sensitive phase to a successful conclusion.
